Washing Machine will not fill with water, fills very slowly after I turned off the main supply to repair fauce?
I turned off my homes main water line in order to replace my worn, leaky outside faucets. I have since run all the other faucets in my home and they are all fine. The only problem is with the washer. The cold water fills extremely slow. The hot water is just fine. Any suggestions on the problem?

Chances are lime and or some thing in the line has gotten your filter trapped in the cold water side of the washer.
remove the cold water hose and clean out the filter and then try it again. We have extremely hard water and every month our cold water line has to be removed and e have to clean the lime out of it.
Because a washing machine stops and runs with the water the cold side aways gunk's up with lime and I would say this is your cause here as well.
