It must be full flow rate or at least not severely retard the flow of water as it will be used as a regular cold tap. It must be fitted in line with the cold water service. It must not require me to bore a hole in my counter top, I don't want a separate faucet next to my sink. It must meet NSF standards 42 and 53. Activated carbon is fine as reverse osmosis is overkill.
