Countertop Water Filter As a Best Filter Satisfying All Your Needs
There are a variety of water purifiers in the market and many individuals like the idea of having a counter top water filter in their home in order to ensure that their loved ones are getting the purest and most contaminant free water possible. However, it is important your filter has certain characteristics in order to get the most for your money.
You want to make sure you buy a counter top water filter that is effective for long term use. Therefore, you need to consider both the upfront cost of the model you decide to purchase as well as the cost of the replacement filters and other equipment that is necessary in order to maintain it. Remember, a counter top water filter is only as good as the filter that is installed in it. Therefore, if you have used the filter for a while, it will not be cleaning or purifying your water as well as it should be when it gets to the six to nine month mark. You want to consider how much it costs to replace the filter when you originally buy the device. If it is incredibly expensive to buy refills and if they have a short shelf life, the counter top water filter you are considering might not be worth it.
Next, when you buy a counter top water filter take special note of how well it will filter your water. Any device that you seriously consider should provide for the removal of all impurities and contaminants up to one micron. If the filtering device says that the filtration system operates on a higher micron level than one, do not buy it as it will not be able to get out some of the most deadly contaminants that are sometimes present in the water system.
Finally, make sure the counter top water filter is easy to install. Most of these devices should be able to be hooked up directly to your tap and should not require any other type of installation or difficult procedure in order to work correctly. Be leery of anything that requires a professional installation, this should be a simple process and you should not have to incur other charges or fees just because you want clean water.
A counter top water filter is a cost effective and easy way to make sure your family is drinking the best quality water possible.

Frequently Asked Questions...
Can I get distilled water using a faucet filter, pitcher filter, or a stage filter?
Which one of these will do the best job giving me 100% distilled water?
Faucet Filter:

Pitcher Filter:

Stage Filter:

Otherwise there is the system that is actually labeled for distilling water, but it's costy and I want this to be my last choice if the above two doesn't actually distill water:

Answer:
All of the above items will not give you distilled water. Distilled water is 99.9% pure and uses heat, evaporation, and condensation to remove any water contaminates (just like the earth’s water cycle). The Faucet filters, pitcher filter, and stage filters use filter media, such as carbon, to clean/polish drinking water. These filtering products reduce CTO (chlorine taste and odor) and a few other contaminates such as lead, cryptosporidium, and giardia cysts. See the below links for more info about how water distillers work and home/counter top water distillers.
